Note :The Plainsman Restaurant on Hwy5, 2 miles West of Highway 6 in Dundas, Ontario has been arranged as the permanent dinner meeting location of the Sec 0400 for the 2000 / 2001 session. Charge for the dinner and the presentation is currently $20.00, with a cash bar.

The October membership meeting will present Nelson Rocha from ArvinMeritor.
ArvinMeritor is a $7.5 billion global supplier of a broad range of integrated systems and modules to the transportation industry,commercial tracks and trailers. It employs 36,500 people at more than 120 facilities in 25 countries.
Nelson Rocha progressed from machine operator to Total Quality Production System Facilitator and is currently the Continuous Improvement Co-ordinator. He is involved with Employee Continuous Improvement Teams, the Employee Suggestion Program and Process Capability Training at ArvinMeritor.
Nelson will present ArvinMeritor's successes in Lean manufacturing and how through the use of an aggressive training program and with "Team Work" system they made improvements in Quality, Unit Cost, Inventory, Lead-Time and Floor Space.
